Own you own island with a gorgeous beach. This spot is not for everyone! It is in one of the most remote and still natural parts of the Azuero Peninsula in the Province of Veraguas. This 10 acre (4 Hectare) Island is located towards the bottom of the Azuero Peninsula. One side of the Island has a white sand beach and the rest is rocky. The fishing close by is some of the best in the world. Diving, snorkeling, and sailing are also fabulous, due to the lack of human activity in the area. Whales and whale sharks also seasonally pass thru the area. You can literally catch Lobster and Crab right off your own Beach. The Island is somewhat rocky, forested, and has beautiful views of the other Islands and the Cera Hoya National Park. It is located on the border of the Park. The park has many unexplored regions with rivers, waterfalls, and primary forest. Wildlife in the park is abundant and reminds one of pre-colonial Panama. You can drive to the beach on the mainland at the town of Arenas (two hours from the capital city of Santiago or 45 minutes to the town of Mariato). Then you take a boat to the island. The island is so close to the mainland and the national park that you can walk across to the mainland at low tide. A nature lover's dream or a boutique hotel project.
