Puerto al Cielo is a fully furnished mountain house that has a great view of Volcan Baru and is within walking distance of downtown Boquete. The home is located within 150 feet of the road to Jaramillo in a typical Panamanian neighborhood. Parking is available at one of the neighbor's houses. To reach the house you will cross a small bridge that traverses a creek. The house has a living room, dining room, bathroom, shower room, office area, kitchen, washroom, an oversized master bedroom and a bunk room. It also has a very nice covered front porch and a beautifully landscaped yard with orchids, roses, coffee and a number of fruit trees. Hummingbirds are regular visitors. A typical day in Boquete starts with temperatures in the low 60's, crystal clear skies and a light breeze. By lunchtime the temperature is in the upper 70's or low 80's and clouds ae starting to form. In the late afternoon you can expect a light drizzle from the clouds and occasionally a light rain. By 8:00 PM the wind picks up and the clouds clear up providing you with an incredible view of the stars. It is an amazing place. Please note: This property is ultra clean and very charming. It is not however, a house built to typical US standards. There are imperfections, but they add to the charm. The neighborhood is largely made up of one extended family. They are a close group and very protective of the area. You will be amazed at their kindness and their work ethic. Feel free to ask them for help with whatever you need. Expect roosters and the smell of freshly brewing coffee to wake you in the morning and to hear the occasional dog barking and child laughing in the evening. There is no telephone or television available at the house at this time. The owner uses it as a place to get away from the craziness of his busy life and does not want modern day intrusions. Any special services you may need (transportation, tours, housekeeping, shopping assistance etc.) can be arranged through the owners agent.
